Getting a professional finish when tiling largely depends on the preparation and planning that goes into the job. and we spend some time on this, as well as on correct trowel techniques and safe and accurate use of wet and dry cutters.

On the  5- Day Tiling Course you will be taught

• How to correctly plan and set out for wall and floor tiling - where to start.
• The proper application of adhesives
• How to lay your tiles neatly and without mess
• The correct spacing of tiles
• Correct use of wet and dry cutters
  
• How to accurately mitre and fix corner bends at windows, reveals and external corners.
• How to cut around pipes, basins etc
• The correct application of grout
• How to neatly apply silicone sealer
• How and when to use a floor levelling compound
  

On the final afternoon of the course we spend some time on:-

!. a) Estimating material quantities

   b) Pricing tiling jobs

   c) Preparing quotations

2.  We also talk through issues such as underfloor heating, tanking systems,natural stone products and adhesives

During the course there is time to ask questions and discuss any issues which you may have with a tiling project
