THE 5-DAY PAINTING AND DECORATING COURSE includes the skills of painting and wall-papering.

On this course you will learn the skills the professional uses in his trade. This course is designed to show you the quick, easy way to achieve a professional result when painting, glossing or wall-papering.

A useful course if you're planning a career in decorating or adding a skill to your existing trade. this course is also right for you if you're planning some Diy decorating or renovating at home.

Course content:

• Stripping off old wallpaper using a steamer
  
• Preparing walls and ceilings for decorating
  
• Making good blemishes, holes and imperfections on walls, ceilings and wood
• Use of various fillers and decorators caulk
  
• The correct techniques in using a brush and roller including cutting neat edges
• How to apply primer, undercoat, emulsion, gloss, eggshell 
• Setting out for wall papering
  
• Cut, paste and hang wall-paper  
  
• Cutting wall-paper into window openings and around door frames.

Care is taken to teach you correct brush and roller techniques so that you get comfortable with the tools and learn to work neatly and quickly. The same applies to the use of scissors, knives and straight edges when wall papering
